Jeff Hedrich

Jeff Hedrich’s career has taken him from award-winning magazine journalist to political media consultant, to advertising agency creative and then to brand strategist and owner of a branding agency. His role in developing the Brand Scan Process is a natural extension of his desire to develop best practice methodologies to branding, and upgrade the power and value of private enterprise brands.

The through-line in Jeff ’s career is a capacity to cut through complexity — of a story, candidate, product or brand — and reveal and communicate singular, persuasive truths.  Revealing and communicating what is most valuable about a brand has become Jeff’s focus since 2011, when he began the transformation of his firm from an advertising agency (Prodigal Media) into a branding agency, now known simply as Prodigal and based in Boardman, Ohio, 

A blue-collar upbringing drives Jeff’s work ethic, three decades of relevant experience accelerate his ability to understand relevant aspects of a client’s business, and a belief that entrepreneurial companies are at the core of creating wealth and value for communities brings added purpose to his life’s work.
